Amanda Turner purchased two outstanding yearlings at the Inglis Classic Sale this week.
The first, bought for $280,000 from Newhaven Park, is an impeccably bred, athletic bay colt by Written Tycoon, the hottest stallion in the Australian breeding circuit, out of Avail whose sire Exceed And Excel is recognised as the world’s best sire of 2YOs. All shares have already been taken in this colt.
The second, purchased from Vinery, is a powerful bay filly by the most shuttled and successful stallion in the world, More Than Ready, with 2051 winners and twice being the leading sire of 2YOs in Australia. The dam, Giovanna Bella is by Iffraaj, himself sire of 11 G1 winners, so another outstanding pedigree.
